The buff “Fast and Furious” actor recently posted a picture of the illuminated Times Square horizon to his personal IG account, focusing on the billboard for the #JumanjiMovie, “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle.” The soon-to-be-released film is a continuation of the 1995 Robin Williams film “Jumanji,” a certified classic centered around two children ambushed by a mystical board game.
The Rock captioned the pic with a heartfelt shoutout to the long grind he put in before becoming an A-list celeb, reminding fans that he was just once a “punk kid” who wanted to make it big.

“Shout out to The Rock tweeting a photo of Times Square with our first ever Poppy billboard lol,” tweeted Sinclair, seizing the opportunity for some piggy-backed promo.
Ever the muscle man with a heart of gold, The Rock responded to Sinclair’s gratitude with his own personal shout out: “Congrats on your first ever Times Square Billboard! Huge! ”
While die-hard Poppy fans may be disappointed that their surreal, pod-person leader is hitting the mainstream, there’s no denying that the exposure to The Rock’s 12.2 million Twitter followers will be good for the star’s social media brand.
Now, we just have to get The Rock x Poppy trending and wait for the fire collab.
