We're almost there, friends. With The Battle of the Bastards concluded, we now move our eyes to the rest of Westeros, with a super-sized finale episode for the sixth season of Game of Thrones. And boy, there are a lot of storylines we're going to have to look into before this is all said and done.
After an absence from the show for a couple of episodes, Bran Stark will be making a return, which means we're very likely taking a look into the past, the future, or both. Then there's Tyrion and Dany, looking anxious as ever, likely because they're about to go to battle with Euron Greyjoy, who is not going to be very pleasant. And then there's Lancel and the High Sparrow. At least ne of them is going to die by the end of this season, I'm fairly certain. So they probably won't be getting that big pay raise.
Davos Seaworth has finally figured out what became of Shireen, and it appears that he's going to have one final confrontation with Melisandre. What this means for the Starks in Winterfell is unkonwn, but it can't be good, right? We're at least going to have one ally leave them.
Bronn and Jaime lead the Lannister army, which I only care about because it means that Bronn will get to smart off again and that's always enjoyable. But then it's clear that Jaime's sitting down with Walder Frey, and that means the Lannisters are once again going to march on Winterfell and take it from the Starks. We're probably going to have to update this infographic to see how the Lannister army stacks up.
So what's to become of Westeros by the time this season ends? Will Dany reach Westeros, or simply leave Essos? We'll just have to wait for the episode to drop.
