Simon Cowell is taking to his soon-to-be fatherly responsibilities quite well.
The “X Factor” judge is already providing shelter to his expected child, reportedly giving one of his homes in cushy Beverly Hills, this one worth $15 million, to his baby mama Lauren Silverman. This will be Simon’s first child, but he already sounds like a natural.
Lauren currently lives in the Hamptons on the East Coast, but Simon wants her to be near his LA home, so he can be part of his child’s upbringing. Simon is so commited in fact, he plans on giving an enormous house to his baby mama.
According to the Daily Mirror, the home resides on the exclusive Trousdale estate—a 7,265 square-foot mansion complete with a swimming pool and four bedrooms. The average price of a home in Beverly Hills runs around $5 million, but Simon’s kid is only going to get the best, clearly. The keys “will be given to Lauren” after her divorce from estranged husband and Simon’s former confidante, Andrew Silverman.
“Simon has amassed a lot of houses with his fortune and will want to provide for his child,” a source told the newspaper.
“He has instructed his advisors to let Lauren have the house,” added the source, also speculating, “which means she can be nearby but crucially not too close so he can get on with his work and usual lifestyle.”
Lauren is also rumored to be moving in with her mother.
