Judge: Lindsay Lohan Will Fail Without Therapy

Matt Dekneef

Lindsay Lohan completes rehab” is a sentence not many thought they would read, but there it is. All over the Internet. Reported by numerous outlets as a cold, hard fact.

The troubled star and her multiple run-ins with the law have been well documented, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s been reported that she’s actually recovering.

But she’s not in the clear just yet.

In a letter sent to the judge directly from Cliffside Malibu rehab facility, where she finished her stay, CEO and founder Richard Taite writes to the judge presiding over Lindsay’s sentence, stating that three 50-minute sessions a week for the next 15 months are necessary for her treatment.

“If these sessions are not required by the court and attendance verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a set up for almost certain failure,” he wrote.

The judge agreed, reiterating Taite’s concerns and has ordered that Lindsay complete mandatory therapy. She’ll have to prove a year from this November that she’s honored that commitment.
