Leonardo DiCaprio deserves an Oscar at this point.

The actor has been in some of the most Oscar-worthy movies of all time, Titanic, Wolf of Wall Street, The Aviator, Gangs of New York, The Departed, the list goes on but not one of them have earned him that coveted award.

He can’t be too mad about it though, right?

I mean it’s almost sad at this point that the man has not gotten an Oscar yet but that doesn’t mean Leo is giving up. No, definitely not this time.

In fact, for Leo's next movie he is pulling out ALL the stops to win the award.

In an interview with Yahoo!, Leo explained the extremes he went to portray his character in the upcoming film, The Revenant.

“I can name 30 or 40 sequences that were some of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do,” the 40-year-old actor said. “Whether it’s going in and out of frozen rivers, or sleeping in animal carcasses, or what I ate on set. I was enduring freezing cold and possible hypothermia constantly.”

Wait, did he just say he slept in animal carcasses? SEVERAL animal carcasses? That's not a single animal carcass but PLURAL animal carcasses.

He also revealed that he ate raw bison liver. RAW PEOPLE!

“I certainly don’t eat raw bison liver on a regular basis. When you see the movie, you’ll see my reaction to it, because Alejandro kept it in. It says it all. It was an instinctive reaction,” Leo said.

We can’t make this up, people. It’s about time someone hands him that freakin' Oscar.
