In two days, Barack Obama will no longer be the President of the United States, and the nation will bend a knee to its newest leader, overlord, and puppet master-in-chief, Vladimir Putin.

But whether you're terrified to see Obama go or excited to leap headfirst into a shamelessly craven sh*tstorm of rage tweets from a puppet president and nothing else, Surly Brewing Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota, has the perfect beverage for you to either drown your sorrows in or dull your already impossibly ass-backward decision-making skills.

It's a winter rye IPA, and it's named after a meme: Thanks Obama.

Surly Brewing Company.

"[The beer] features a new, experimental hop variety (06297, if you’re curious). Expect a complex, spicy malt character with candied grape and vanilla cream hop aromas," Surly wrote on its website. "Add a little honey and malt sweetness to round it out, and there you go. It checks in at 6.5% ABV, and will be the perfect beer to inaugurate your next visit to the Beer Hall. Reflect on the last eight years, look to the future, and enjoy a pint with your fellow Americans."

Unfortunately, for now, if you want to try the beverage you'd better hope you live close to Minneapolis. Surly Brewing Company will unleash the beverage on Inauguration Day, January 20, at their brewery/restaurant located in the city.

They also don't want to hear about how much hate you have in your heart.

"Beer is one of the few bipartisan things left in this country," they wrote, "so please don’t yell at us about the name on the internet, even though we know you’re going to anyway."
