How would you like a free soft scoop Dairy Queen ice cream, and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of sick children?

What’s not to love about that, right? If so, then head to Dairy Queen on March 20 for a free frozen treat, as the popular ice cream chain gives away their wares for free in the hopes that patrons will donate to a worthy cause.

While ostensibly an opportunity to celebrate the beginning of summers, March 20 will see an enormous giveaway at participating Dairy Queen and Chill and Grill locations, in order to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

You’ll be given a free ice cream no matter what, but if you’re feeling generous, staff will be fundraising for the charity, and will be happy to take your donations.

Considering that a Dairy Queen soft scoop will normally set you back nearly two dollars, surely you can find some pocket change to give away to help sick kids.

Dairy Queen has a long history of supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, having donated over $120 million to the charity over the last thirty years. Last year, the ice cream franchise raised over $200,000 for the network, and there’s every hope that this event will help to raise even more.

So if you want a free ice cream on March 20, head over to Dairy Queen. Feel free to dig deep into your pockets anyway, though, in order to make life a little better for a sick child who needs help.
