Someone Made a 7-Foot Throne Out of Ice Cream Cones for the Return of ‘Game of Thrones’

If you love ice cream and Game of Thrones as much as Sam loves Gillie, Cersei loves wine, Arya loves killing, and Grand Maester Pycelle loves creeping the residents of King’s Landing out, then you’ll love what Blue Bunny created in honor of a happy coincidence from Sunday.

Not only was July 16 the day Game of Thrones stormed back into our lives, it was National Ice Cream Day.

So in honor of the double holiday, the ice cream company created a 7’2″ throne made of ice cream cones that is actually functional—meaning those who visited the cone throne at Big Screen Plaza in New York City the weekend of the Season 7 premiere actually got to sit on it and bask in the thought of ruling a much sweeter version of Westeros, where the iron throne is replaced with a sugary alternative, and Ser Gregor “the Mountain” Clegane is presumably made of marshmallows.

Here’s a time-lapse video of the cone throne’s construction.

When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. But when you play the game of cones, everybody wins, though your hands might get a bit sticky.
