Carter Wilkerson is attempting to bring fast-food chain Wendy's to its knees.

You see, Carter propositioned Wendy's with a question on Twitter. He was wondering how many retweets he would need to get free chicken nuggets for a year. The Wendy's account replied back to Carter with a finite number: 18 million.

This has started a storm online, as Carter has seen his number of retweets rise, and rise, and rise. There is a major movement online to get Carter to 18 million, and it is becoming amazingly impressive. Here is a look at the exchange between Carter and Wendy's, along with some other tweets about the situation.

Will Carter make it to 18 million? What constitutes a year's supply of nuggets? Will this cause Wendy's to go under? Will Wendy's ante up if he actually makes it to 18 million? Who knows. What we do know is that the most retweeted picture of all time is Ellen's Oscar picture, which has slightly over 3 million retweets. So Carter would have to beat that tweet by six times the amount.

According to Favstar, as of this writing, Carter's tweet is already the fourth-most retweeted tweet of all time.

Good luck and godspeed, Carter.
