Because any snack containing melted cheese and garlic is sure to be an explosion in your mouth, Chungah from Damn Delicious has created an insanely rich “Cheesy Garlic Bomb” recipe made from a few simple ingredients! Slathered in butter and oozing with mozzarella, these mini garlic bread bites are pretty damn irresistible.
Here's What You'll Need:
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (16-ounce) tube of Pillsbury refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
48 fresh mozzarella pearls, drained
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
1. First thing's first: preheat oven to 425 degrees and lightly coat a 24-cup mini muffin tin with nonstick spray. Then, in a small bowl, whisk up the melted butter, garlic, oregano, basil and salt. Set aside.
2. Unleash the Pillsbury dough and halve each of the 8 biscuits, making 16 pieces total. One at a time, use a rolling pin to flatten each piece to a ¼-inch thickness. Add 2-3 mozzarella pearls to the center of each biscuit and roll them into tiny little balls.
3. Place your completed cheesy balls of greatness into the muffin tin and brush each ball using half the butter mixture. Add a sprinkle of parmesan and place the tin in the oven, baking until golden brown for about 8-10 minutes.
4. For the most enjoyable experience, serve your cheesy garlic bombs immediately. Don't forget to brush them with the remaining butter mixture and garnish with parsley, if desired!
