Not one to be one-upped by a burger joint, Taco Bell has unveiled an all-new Cheetos Burrito and it’s exactly as it sounds!
According to Foodbeast the beef burritos come loaded with seasoned meat, buttery rice, cheese sauce and those orange, finger-licking good cheese puffs known as Cheetos. While the chain already has a chip-inspired lineup consisting of Doritos Locos Tacos, Burger King recently released Mac n’ Cheetos (basically deep fried Cheetos stuffed with mac and cheese) and the nation went wild—making Cheetos Burritos a natural next step for the Mexican chain.

The new cheese puff burritos will be available at select Taco Bell locations beginning mid-August and go for a totally affordable $1 each (stoners, middle schoolers and broke college students rejoice!) While the cheesy delight may appear like a messy mouthful, it can’t be worse than those orange-tip fingers that often come with devouring a bag of Cheetos.
Earlier this year Taco Bell introduced Beefy Cheddar Cheetos Crunchwrap Sliders and Supreme Cheetos Crunchwrap Sliders to our friendly neighbors up north, however this will be the first time Cheetos make their debut on Taco Bell menus in the US. And while the chain will only be testing the Cheetos Burrito in select cities next month, we don’t doubt their ability to become a nationwide staple.
What’s next—a fiery Hot Cheetos Burrito? Cheetos Locos Tacos? Taco Bell has come such a long way from it’s original five-item menu!
