On the Friday before every Super Bowl from 1993 until now, Philadelphia has hosted Wing Bowl, an annual eating contest conjured by radio hosts Angelo Cataldi and Al Morganti.
In recent years, the main event has been dominated by competitive eater Molly Schuyler, who won it in 2016 and 2014—eating 429 and 363 Buffalo wings through three rounds, respectively—and finished second in 2015 by four measly wings.
Thanks to a new rule that prevents repeat winners from participating, Schuyler had to sit the Wing Bowl 25 main event out.
So she filled that void with five and a half pounds of steak and, for good measure, 95 Buffalo wings.
Those 95 wings came in a separate, five-minute event, edging out her competition by four.

With plenty of room left, she set her eyes on the steak-eating competition. Schuyler won that, too, and in world record-breaking fashion.
She apparently set a new worldwide mark by eating five and a half pounds of steak in three minutes and 17 seconds.
According to Cataldi and Morganti, the 25th edition of Wing Bowl will also be the last.
