Man’s Service Dog Is Lost In The Wild, 4 Weeks Later This Happens
Some people’s jobs are a lot more stressful than we thought. Take, for example, Julian Scott who is an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). He works in Santa Clarita, California, and he’s a wonderful person.
Scott realized he needed some emotional support. That is how his wife got a dog with a very special job – to become his very best friend.
Shelby Got Lost

But an unfortunate event would then happen, with Scott ending in losing his pooch Shelby in the forest for 28 days. Days after searching for her, he received a call. Someone found his dog. Wait until you see how Shelby reacts.

A Difficult Call

When Scott had to respond to a situation that also included a friend of his, his heart would be completely torn into pieces. Despite all the efforts of the medics, his friend tragically died.
The event scarred Scott so much that he admitted to needing emotional support… That’s when his wife Sarah Adcock, also an EMT, came with an idea.
Getting a Service Dog

Both he and his wife decided to get a dog. Their companion would have the special job of being the best assistant Scott would ever have. The couple were looking for a perfect pooch, and they soon found it on July 23, 2018.
Here’s what he said on his Facebook page about their decision…
The Perfect Pooch

“We waited until we found the perfect dog for us,” wrote the medical professional on social media. And finally, they looked at Shelby, an adorable pooch, and realized she was the one!
They went to get her and that’s when it all got emotional, recounted Scott in an interview with the Dodo.
