After divorcing Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes left the Church of Scientology. Though raised a Catholic, she joined the religion upon dating Tom.

Ex-Scientologist Nicole
Nicole Kidman also left Scientology after her divorce from Tom Cruise in 2001.

Ex-Scientologist Jerry
Jerry Seinfeld admitted to studying Scientology for a brief time in 2007, but didn't do much. "I just did a little, but I liked it," he admitted.

Jason Beghe left the church in 2007. "Scientology is destructive and a rip-off," the actor said in a video rant a year later. "It's very, very dangerous for your spiritual, psychology, mental, emotional health and evolution."

Director and screenwriter Paul Haggis left the church in 2009 after being a member for over 30 years. He was turned off by the religion after the San Diego branch of the church spoke out against Proposition 8.

Lisa Marie Presley broke up with the church through her song "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" in 2012.
