Bad Skin Habits That Can Seriously Damage Your Natural Glow
Let’s face it: Small pleasures and indulgences are a necessary part of everyone’s daily life. But not everything good is bad for you, or your skin!
However, some bad skin habits can diminish your natural glow, and these days we could use all the glow we can get. Change your bad skin habits, and start feeling better from the outside in.
Too Much Air Conditioning

God, do I hate that feeling on the inside of my nose when I’ve been forced to sit in air conditioning all day. Turns out it’s bad for your skin as well as your sinuses. This is how you can still get sandpaper knees when it’s 82 and balmy out.
Booze

Ah, alcohol, you delicious poison. It’s not just the dehydrating effects of those cocktails that are messing up your skin; it’s also the depletion of your natural stores of vitamin A.
Drinking too much can lead to a vitamin A deficiency, which in turn can cause damage to your skin’s lipid layers. So think before you drink. Or just make sure to eat a lot of antioxidants when you do.
Shitty Pillowcases

First, spend a little extra for some nice Egyptian cotton or bamboo fiber pillowcases. Because rough, cheap sheets can irritate delicate areas. Also be sure to wash and change your pillowcases regularly.
Just think about all that crud that must build up on there. Another reason why you should wash your face every night.
F–king Touching It, Idiot

Keep your filthy hands away from your face. Seriously, it’s crazy to go out into the world and be touching car doors and money and dogs all willy nilly, and then reach up and touch your face to try and fix whatever eruption your skin has produced.
If you must, at least wash first. But whatever you do, don’t pick.
