Some people call it urban exploration, also dubbed as “urbexing.” In the last few years, this has become quite a trend on YouTube or social media.

A lot of people have shared many of their adventures in the city, but Dan Dixon from the UK got what we’d call the cherry on top. Prepare to be amazed!

Dixon and his friends have an “urbexing” channel on YouTube called ‘Exploring with Fighters,’ which they started in January of 2017. They’re quite popular, and have shared many videos, gathering more than ten million channel views.

But what really got the people’s attention was the Hook End Manor – even the name makes you think of something out of a horror for Halloween, right?

The Fighters have been exploring many ruins of hotels, factories, theme parks, but Dixon wanted to try something big and famous. That’s when last year in September, Dixon decided to go to Oxfordshire, England.

He would explore a derelict mansion which to score the exploration of a lifetime.

And waking up to catch a 4 AM train with the guys was totally worth it!

Yes, these guys ventured inside, even though it was private property – and they explained that criminal trespassing in the UK will only result in a small fine – if there is a civil legal action.

So, what happened?
