Amusement park tragedies like the one in Greeneville, Tennessee on Aug. 8, 2016, felt like a scene from Final Destination. The Ferris wheel basket flipped, sending Briley Ray Reynolds and her 10-year-old sister flying.

Her sister suffered only a broken arm, but Briley suffered severe brain injury.

Space Journey at the Ecoventure Valley amusement park in Shenzen, China, was supposed to simulate a rocket launch. But on June 30, 2010, six people died and 10 were injured when the ride plunged 15 meters to the ground.

Witnesses claimed a power outage may have cause the accident.

Waterslide Of Death

In 2016, the Verruckt waterslide’s safety harnesses at the Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Kansas City malfunctioned, sending 10-year-old Caleb Schwab’s raft airborne. It slid down the 168-foot tall slope at 60 mph, killing the boy.
