In Queensland, Australia Tommy Connolly was studying at the University of the Sunshine State.

He lived a fairly regular life that most 23-year-olds live. He had part-time jobs, a social life, and studied. But he had no idea that in just a few days he’d be a parent and even more.

But Tommy was also a great athlete. He was on the Track team while at school but also competed in competitions all over.

He had big dreams of running in international competitions. But he had no idea that soon he’d have to give all of that up.

Tommy also loved adventure as much as he did sports. He fell in love with nature at a young age living in Australia. After all, he did have a lot of outdoors to take advantage of.

He did everything that he could. He would hike, climb. raft, anything that fed his adrenaline addiction.

Big Plans

Tommy studied business and economics because he was ambitious and wanted to start his own company one day. This would allow him to keep his sport career alive as well as his adventurous side.

But soon he found himself using his knowledge for something unexpected – a family.

Wanderlust

Tommy had traveled all over Australia seeking adventure. He also went to the US with his friend, an experience that stuck with him.

He realized after that that he wanted to see the world. He wanted to scratch that itch before it was too late and he had settled down. But he was unaware that the decision had only been made for him.
