A Girl Comes Home Every Day Without Any Shoes Until An Officer Trails The Bus Driver

In order not to alert her, the tired father walked quietly behind her. Seeing the school bus approaching, he hid behind a tree. Others were waiting along the roadside.

The children walked in beside her. On the bus steps, he saw a hand stop her. She looked down at her feet in confusion.

She wasn’t allowed onto the bus by someone.

Baffling Bravery

Abigail Brodham was a nine-year-old girl who was curious and imaginative. Jefferey was her father, and she lived in Montana with him. She recently lost her mother. Her father was often baffled by her bravery. An unusual child, she was.

She sometimes arrived home without shoes. Each time, her father wondered why it happened. 

She always returned home with her buckles undone after he fastened them himself.

Someone Told Her To

At first her father didn’t think anything of Abigail arriving home without her shoes because she was adventurous. However, he would have to wait a few more days before he could find out for himself.

When her father, Jeffrey, inquired about it, she either shrugged her shoulders, ran back to her room, or simply replied, “They told me to.” 

One day, Jeffrey decided to follow Abigail and find out why someone would ask her to remove her shoes.

Disappearing Shoes

Jeffrey was naturally concerned about this strange behavior, which he couldn’t ignore any longer. In an effort to uncover the truth, he secretly followed Abigail one day to find out where and why her shoes disappeared.

While she walked down the familiar path to catch the school bus, he discreetly trailed behind her. 

So she wouldn’t notice him following her, he walked quietly over the gravel.

Concerning Discovery

Jeffrey followed discreetly behind Abigail as she boarded the school bus, his concern growing with every step. Upon settling into her seat, Abigail was stopped by the bus driver from boarding.

As his heart pounded in his chest, Jeffrey watched in stunned amazement.
