A Sticky Situation

A local animal shelter received a report about some puppies trapped in tar. They were still alive, but they were unable to move. They had no hope of survival without the help of others.

As soon as they reached their headquarters, they began softening the tar. After many hours of work, the rescuers finally succeeded in removing the tar. It was also discovered that the pups’ mother was nearby. They were reunited as a family.

Saving A Bird

An injured young sparrowhawk was saved by Simon and the Wildlife Aid team. The bird, which was unable to fly, was discovered in someone’s garden. The bird was extremely hard to catch.

Following the bird’s capture and transport to the center, x-rays revealed a fractured wing. Surgery was necessary to save the bird. After only three weeks of rehabilitation, the bird of prey was released and flew away happily.

A Dog In Need

A shepherd was discovered abandoned in a park. Due to its friendly personality, it had probably been owned previously. They found that the youngster had been suffering from an ear infection for several weeks when they arrived at the shelter.

To remedy the problem, he was prescribed antibiotics. The rescuers dubbed him Grizzly and assisted him in fully recovering from his experience.

Pete The Chikadee

The man noticed a cat hovering around a small bird. The man rescued the bird and decided he would take care of it. Almost all its feathers were gone, and its eyes were closed. It looked like a chickadee that had just hatched.

The man named the chick Pete, and he began nursing it. It was essential to feed the tiny animal every hour so that it would grow strong enough to survive. A simple incubator was constructed so that it could sleep warm.

In spite of his ailments, the chick was becoming better and wanted more and more hungry. Today, Pete is a delightful adult chickadee.
