Man Realizes Tree Is Too Light, Finds Hole Inside

The gentle breeze from earlier that day had slowly become a howling gale by the time Allen went to bed. He was always worried about days like these.

And he was right to worry — he heard a loud crack as the wind blew down the oldest and largest tree in his garden. But when he looked inside its hollow trunk, there was something inside.

Meet Allen Pursley

Allen is a resident of Texas who has loved animals since he was very young. As a child, he would help stray animals and birds with broken wings. As an adult, nothing had changed. Allen had a wonderful partner, a couple of dogs and a cat.

He had no idea that he was about to take in yet another animal soon.

Disaster Strikes

The couple had no intention of taking in another animal but that was about to change. Early the next morning Allen heard a terrible sound. Something loud and heavy crashed through one of the windows to their house. Allen rushed to see what happened.

The noise had been so loud that even his neighbors rushed out to see what happened. Once they saw what happened, it didn’t take long for the police and the fire brigade to arrive on the scene.

Timber!

Allen could not believe what he was seeing. One of the biggest trees in the yard had been blown over. The massive tree had fallen against his house.

The upper branches had smashed through the window of the bedroom where they had been sleeping just moments earlier. As people got to work removing the tree they all heard a strange sound.

There’s Something In There

Everyone heard a loud squealing sound. They started to look around only to discover that the sound was coming from inside the tree. Allen was the first person to run to the tree and take a closer look.

He realized that the bottom part of the tree was apparently hollow. Without thinking he reached inside to feel if he could feel something.
