However, the foil ones are some of the most useful – and legitimate! A few are very well-known but some are nearly unheard of. How many of these have you already used?

Put a sheet of foil behind your WiFi box to amp the signal.

Or, it can also go behind a radiator or other heater to help direct warm air in the direction you want it to go. The same thing can be used to direct light from phones or bulbs.

Mask Substitute

If someone is in a pinch for a beauty mask cover, tin foil can do in a pinch.

Just make sure the mask ingredients don’t react to the cover. Some internet beauty enthusiasts say it’s good for whitening, but that’s not proven so far.

Cat Toys

Anyone with a feline in their home knows this is true.

You could be the best toys in the store, but a simple ball of foil will keep the kitties busy for hours. So don’t bother wasting money on the nice things. A few balls and a box, and you’re good to go.

Iron Cleaning

No matter how good the iron is, there will always be build up.

To get it sparkling again, and protected your clothes, rub a bunch of foil on the metal while it’s hot – sort of like a scouring pad. But make sure you don’t burn yourself!

Hijackers are always on the lookout for cars with those types of remote control keys.

Wrapping your door device will helps stop signals and bad dudes from breaking into your car and snatching whatever they can run with – or the car itself!

Battery Emergencies

This one is NOT advisable for long term.

This is because certain devices need certain power, also you don’t want to zap yourself. But if you need to turn something on/off once in an “emergency” (think AC when it’s boiling), then this hack will do in a pinch.
