Viewer Looks Closely At TV Presenter’s Adam’s Apple And Decides To Speak Up
Australian reporter Antoinette Lattouf has been a familiar face on Australian television for more than a decade already. However, during a recent broadcast, her familiar appearance seemed different to one viewer. The viewer contacted Lattouf and saved her life.
Start Of Her Career
Lattouf started her path to a journalism career by studying a Communications degree at the University of Technology Sydney. She got a position as a reporter at SBS Television’s panel show Insight.
It was just more than a year after she started there that she was also appointed as a producer of SBS News.
Moving Further
She moved from SBS to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 2007. In the beginning, she worked as a for Media Watch. From there she moved on to work as a radio presenter on Triple J as well as a producer and journalist for ABC News24. She wouldn’t end there though.
Ten Out Of Ten
Lattouf then moved to Network Ten. After a stint as a reporter on Ten Eyewitness News, she began appearing as a regular guest panelist on Studio10. She also wrote numerous stories and features for The Hoopla, a now-defunct Australian news site.
Diversity
She was never satisfied with being able to do only one thing so Lattouf continued to diversify her talents. 2015 saw her appointed as a lecturer of journalism at Macleay College.
In 2017 she helped to found Media Diversity Australia and also became an ambassador for the pre and post-natal natal well-being charity, Gidget Foundation Australia.
