Bridesmaid Announces Engagement At Wedding, Bride Gets Even

She couldn’t believe it. The happiest day of her life, ruined. She felt angry and more importantly, disappointed. Disappointed that her friend could do something like this.

Turning to her so-called “friend,” she saw the obnoxious smirk that was plastered on her face and knew that it had all been calculated. She grinned and tried to bear it, but all she could think about was revenge.

The Day She’d Always Dreamed Of

For as long as she could remember, Emma had planned every single detail of her wedding. From the satin sheer dress to the white roses to even the fluffy, vanilla wedding cake.

So when Jake, her boyfriend of five years, proposed to her outside their favorite coffee shop on a warm summer day, she knew she had nothing to worry about when it came to her wedding. But she could never have prepared for this.

Day Of The Wedding

Emma and Jake’s wedding took place in the fall. With all their friends and family there to witness it, the happy couple exchanged their vows. The ceremony went without a hitch and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

Of course, Emma couldn’t have known that one of her bridesmaids was just waiting for her chance to ruin it all.

The Reception

After the ceremony, it was time for the reception. After a long day and all the wedding stress, Emma was relieved to finally be able to kick off her heels, dance, and eat some food.

But as the party got into full swing, Emma’s bridesmaid, Sarah, stumbled up and off her seat. Swaying, she grabbed the microphone and tapped on it to get everyone’s attention.

Taking The Mic

Sarah looked over to the bride and smirked as she started talking into the mic. Sarah’s slurred speech begins as she reminisces about the “good times” with Emma. The bride smiles as Sarah recounts the memories the two friends shared.

But those memories and feelings of nostalgia were about to be shattered by Sarah’s announcement.
