It’s well known about the rules around Disney’ employees “character” commitment. Also, that the dust around the Haunted Mansion isn’t dust at all.

But there are some very interesting titbits that don’t always make the front page.

Frog Kissing

Kids love Disney. They also like to mimic what they see.

So when the Princess and the Frog came out, a bunch of kids started to hunt down frogs to smooch – hoping a prince, even a princess would appear. This resulted in over 50 kids getting the salmonella.

No Beards

The Mouse Boss himself issued a very strange rule.

Men with beards, or any facial hair, were not allowed to work in the park. The clean shaven rule was only altered a few years ago to allow certain kinds of face scruff. Ironic coming from the founder who had a mustasch.

Rescuers Recall

3.4 million copies of the Rescue Aid Society’s silver screen adventure had to be recalled.

Why? Some mischievous animators had snuck in a spicy photo in the background of one scene. It can only been seen for less than a second, but the wholesome company had to beg for the copies back.
