Mom Lets Teen Niece Babysit, Minutes Later Is Sent This Photo

There comes a time in every parent’s life when they need to find a babysitter for their child. This can be stressful because you don’t always know who to trust.

If you are very lucky you can find a family member to take care of your precious child. Claudia Sorhaindo, a working mom, found herself in this situation. She took a closer look at the photograph and stopped in her tracks.

That Sinking Feeling

Claudia Sorhaindo and her daughter, Ava, live in Florida. Claudia is as protective as any mother and seldom left Ava alone. However, as for any other working mom, this is not always possible.

When Claudia was told that there was going to be a business meeting out of town and that she was expected to be there, her heart sank. Even worse, she couldn’t take Ava with. She needed a solution and fast.

Weighing Her Options

Claudia weighed her options carefully. Juggling motherhood and a full-time job wasn’t easy at the best of times, but she had no choice.

But on top of all the leave she had already taken when Ava had been sick, she knew that if she didn’t go to this business meeting it wouldn’t look good for her – her job could be on the line. She was faced with a tough decision.

Finding A Babysitter

Claudia immediately got on her phone and began to dial everyone she knew in hopes that someone could babysit little Ava for the weekend.

When her sister suggested that her teenage daughter, J’Ann, took care of Ava for the weekend, Claudia had her reservations. Would a teenager be able to take on such a big responsibility by herself?

The last time Claudia hired a babysitter it had not ended well.

Doubts

Claudia’s sister tried to calm her fears by assuring her that her daughter had looked after children before, but she just couldn’t shake the sinking feeling in her stomach. Indeed, Claudia knew J’Ann well.

But that did nothing to soothe her worries. What she didn’t know was that this simple decision would end up changing her life.
