Every person has a weird little quirk that they do with their pets. It’s what makes your relationship with the animal special and that connection cannot be broken. If you’re rich your quirk might be a little more extravagant and strange than everyone else’s. For example, Barbra Streisand. Barbra Streisand has made a habit of cloning her dogs.

Streisand hasn’t just cloned her dog once, she has done it twice, and there’s no telling when the madness will end! Who would’ve thought of Streisand and a mad scientist cloning a ton of animals? Seems like something from an episode of Rick and Morty.

After the original dog died last year, Streisand looked into collecting its DNA and having it cloned. The cells were taken from the mouth and stomach of her former dog and used to create the clones.

Streisand appears to notice some small differences between the clones and her original dog. “They have different personalities,” Streisand said of the puppy clones, called Miss Scarlett and Miss Violet. “I’m waiting for them to get older so I can see if they have her brown eyes and her seriousness.”

The procedure apparently costs around $50,000, so you can clone your pet as well if you have that kind of money lying around. If you do, I say go for it. No one can replace man’s best friend.
