Qwedra Evans was the manager of Check ‘n Go in Michigan until she was fired from her job after taking her daughter to work. Check ’n Go spokesman John Rabenold says she was “terminated for violating company policy.” And there have been many other women who have found themselves in a similar situation. But some companies are considering an important question: why should women have to choose between a career and motherhood?
