Bus Driver Secretly Slips Note Into Backpack But Never Expected Reply
Jenny found her mornings to be quite hard. The rain pelted the windscreen of the bus as the wipers dragged it clear again. Even the smile of the children couldn’t bring her into good spirits this time.
Some days weren’t like others, and today was a difficult one. But then she saw them on the sidewalk, she had no idea what they had in store for her.
Tough Beginnings
Cindy like everyone was once a young girl. She had gone to eight foster in a single year at the age of twelve. She had grown out of her “cute” phase, at least according to prospective adopters.
As she grew into her teenagehood she started to rebel. They knew they had to do something else if it were to work. They couldn’t try the naive couple, not anymore.
New Starts
So when Cindy got to the old house with pastel blue walls she stopped dead in her tracks. It was very familiar, she just didn’t know where from. The social worker encouraged her to ring the bell.
Cindy didn’t want to have an altercation with the social worker so she did what she asked. But the person who answered the door brought a lot of memories flooding back.
Familiar Face
It was an elderly lady, she gave a wrinkled smile as she supported herself on an old cane. Her blue eyes were piercing, but recognizable.
Cindy felt her pulse start to race. “Hello, Cindy, you’ve no idea how much I’ve missed you.” She instantly recognized the voice, her head spun, then everything was black.
Realization
Cindy snapped out of it when she heard a soft-spoken voice call out her name. She looked into her eyes and knew who it was. “Grandma?”. She hugged her tightly, never wanting to let go.
She feared she would never get to see her again. Finally, after all this time, they had been reunited. But her grandmother, Anna, would soon discover the impacts their separation had.
