She let out a frustrating moan and gathered the sad-looking shoes before throwing them in a garbage bag.

She didn’t know how, but he must have been escaping in the night and destroying everything he could get his paws on. She needed to figure out what was going on, but when she saw it she couldn’t believe her eyes.

Fur Babies

Margret Weiss and her husband Richard loved their furballs. They were a part of the family.

Even if their house was a nest for dog hair and their furniture sometimes had chew marks they loved the happiness that their companions brought them. Even Benny, the naughty one, was special to them.

Energetic Boy

Benny was their special jack russel, but margeret call him “an overwound coil spring hopped up on 20 shots of espresso and ants in his pants.”

He hated sitting around, he had a lot of energy and was always doing something. Running, exploring, playing with toys, or begging for treats.

Keeping Him Active

Margeret always took him for a morning run, it was good for the both of them.

They both needed the exercise and Benny wouldn’t be so destructive afterward. But when they had to put him in his cage he hated it. They, unfortunately, had to do it. But it caused endless drama.

Cage Life

She would put Benny in a large cage and out on a “channel for dogs”.

Whenever she put poor Benny in the cage she felt a pain in her heart. But the dogsitter would arrive at three and let him out. Then her husband would get home.
