As a police officer, it’s your job to protect civilians from the forces of evil and uphold the laws of the land. And as much as that’s what is expected, it isn’t always easy to do. Sometimes, it’s not always a good idea to enforce the law.

In some cases, it’s best to turn a blind eye. Such was the case with one police officer who caught a young girl shoplifting. At first, he was obliged to do the lawful thing. Then, when he learned why she did it, he was devastated.

Family Ties

Growing up, Che Milton was surrounded by law enforcers. His father was a retired police lieutenant, and his older brother worked as a police officer.

In his household, his dad and brother were strict and always instilled in Che to follow the rules and laws of the land.

Carving His Own Path

As he got older, he was unsure as to whether he would choose a similar profession. Granted, he did have a close relationship with his father and brother.

They were instrumental figures in his life and people he would turn to for advice whenever he needed it. However, it was up to him to determine whether he wanted to go down the same road. After all, he had his own likes and dislikes.

Familiar Roads

By the time he became an adult, Che had made up his mind: he had decided to join law enforcement as an officer. He felt that this was the best path for him. For so long, he had looked up to his dad and brother and was inspired by them.

For him, there was no other profession that would have given him greater satisfaction.

A Fearsome Appearance

As his fellow officers would later recount, when Che became Officer Milton, he had developed a reputation for being the perfect image of a cop. He was tall with a strong build and had an authoritative air about him.

He just had the look of someone that ought to be respected. However, that wasn’t the only thing that he was known for.
