Cat Leaves Family Gifts Everyday For Years Until Dad Realizes Why

He looked at it with wide eyes. They begged him not to open it though, no one had any what the cat had dragged in this time – literally.

It looked strange and different from what she normally dragged in from somewhere in the surrounding neighborhood. Nobody could tell what it was, but then their dad decided to open it up, and their life changed forever.

A Rescue Cat

Amy was found and rescued by a loving family. They found her in a shelter not far from her house and fell in love with her immediately. Even though she was awfully boisterous they loved her for it.

But a surprising talent that Amy had was finding the oddest things and bringing them back to her family home. But they had no idea what she was going to bring in one day.

Treasures

As Amy settled into her new home she soon started to explore past the property line. She would often disappear for most of the day and then return with something interesting.

Her family wondered where she got all of the stuff and if she was a menace to the neighborhood. They started to be concerned about what their cat was doing.

Stuff

As Amy brought in more “stuff” it started becoming more and more diverse. Sometimes she’d bring in a dirty sock but other times she’d bring in something as significant as keys. Even if the children loved the game, their parents were concerned.

Most of the things she brought inside were little baubles that weren’t significant. But one day, she brought in something that would be missed by its owner and be anything but harmless.

Annoyed Neighbors

Soon word spread about Amy stealing items and annoyed neighbors started banging on their front door. Demanding that they get their things back. Other neighbors seemed to think that it was amusing and they weren’t concerned.

But even with her mixed reactions, the family was gravely concerned that she would bring something in that would cause more trouble than anything else. And soon their fears were realized.
