Being a housekeeper is not an easy job. It is a physical job, and sadly many housekeepers don’t get paid much for the massive amount of work they do for strangers and people that they don’t even know.

This is something that Cara Simmons understood very well. Cara worked herself to the bone. She never took a day off, even when she started to get sick. She always remained optimistic and happy.

Meet Cara

As a 36-year-old single mom, Cara Simmons made ends meet and took care of her three daughters by working as a housekeeper. She not only worked hard. Cara never went on vacation or even took a day off for herself.

Health Risk

As commendable as her work ethic was, it wasn’t as good for her health and Cara ended up in the hospital more than once.

The stress of her routine and struggling to pay her rent started to give her terrible stomach ulcers, but Cara didn’t let that stop her from giving her very best to every job she got.
