Couple Notices Something In The Background Of Their Photo

Their photos consistently received likes. People from my friends’ and families’ and even some strangers would frequently comment. They were well-liked. However, one image was distinct. Overnight, it became a huge hit that wasn’t simply seen by their close friends.

Their images were used by magazines and news websites to share them with the globe. What made this picture so unique? Why were people talking about it so much? Then, when they read the comments, all became clear.

New Beginnings

However, Wendy Joseph and Dan Hennessey weren’t always such well-known online personalities. They even recall a day when social media was not even a blot on anyone’s mind. Funny enough, though, it had a significant impact on how their love and success story began.

When they were both freshmen in college in 2006, everything started. They didn’t know one another, but they were going to come into contact in the strangest of ways.

Meeting New People

Dan was a sophomore in exercise science who was 18 years old. Wendy, who was just 17 years old at the time and had just completed high school, aspired to work in public healthcare.

Dan was a social young man who enjoyed partying and making new friends, so it didn’t take him long to discover Facebook.

The social network was only starting off at the time, and only college students were using it, primarily for courting. The webpage won his favor right away.

Making New Friends

Dan utilized Facebook to make new friends and widen his network of acquaintances. He  found a girl named Daphne who shared some pals with him. She ignored his message when he sent it to her. He continued through her buddy list unafraid. He then noticed Wendy’s profile.

He messaged her after falling in love with her images. Wendy, though, was leery of online strangers at the moment. Instead of responding, she discussed it with her friend Daphne, who had some negative things to say about Dan.

Being Persistent

Wendy made the decision not to respond to Dan after Daphne informed her that she had received his message as well. After a few weeks, he re-engaged. She visited his profile out of curiosity and learned that he knew individuals from her high school.

She responded to her reply, and so an internet friendship started. However, Wendy’s friends were invited to a party at Dan’s place because he wanted to meet Wendy in person.

There was just one issue…
