Couple Tries To Adopt Pregnant Dog But Vet Stops Them
The veterinarian laid aside her equipment and refocused on the mother dog. Including the scan, she had repeatedly examined the results.
But in all the years she had worked as a vet, she had never come across anything like this. She was filled with concerns, however, the only thing she was certain of was that the dog required urgent care.
The Dog For Them
Marissa and Chris spent a very long time trying to find their perfect dog. They searched many animal shelters, however, it was much more difficult than they had anticipated.
They wanted to take one pup home with them, however, when they spotted the sorrowful pregnant dog, Marissa knew exactly what to do.
Once the dog saw the pair, she approached them and gave Chris a slobbery kiss on his hands. Marissa was aware that she and her puppies required a good, caring home because of how much her belly was distended with puppies.
Tough Beginnings
Chris and Marissa would soon learn that the poor dog’s life had many sad moments, in addition to getting pregnant at the rescue. She had a really challenging upbringing.
The owner of the pitbull named Story maintained a domestic breeding operation. But when it got more expensive to properly care for her, they left her at the shelter. Marissa was overcome with emotion as she listened to the heartbreaking tale. She was aware that the pitbull needed saving.
They Loved Them
Chris and Marissa adored Pitbulls, so it was the perfect situation. They have previously saved a number of Pitbulls. Ten Pitbulls in total were saved by the pair. Pitbulls are tragically greatly misunderstood, so despite their passion for the breed, they realize there is more they can do for them.
If they were able to provide homes for ten dogs, they could most certainly get one for Story. Or so they believed.
They Were Knowledgable
In certain States, Pitbulls are outright prohibited. Clearly, the pair had extensive knowledge of this breed. Even yet, they were unprepared for what was about to happen. Nobody was.
Chris and Marissa were astounded by the sheer number of Pitbulls when they visited different animal shelters. They were unaware that one of them was about to drastically alter their life.
