The Paradise Cult
Paradise cult leader, Park Soon-Ja was known as a benevolent mother by cult followers. She claimed the world was about to end, like almost every other cult leader. Eventually, her husband discovered a mass grave of 33 bound and gagged bodies in a tourist souvenir factory attic where her followers worked. It is believed that many of Soon-Ja’s followers had lent her large sums of money.
