Dad Finds Baby’s Face In Washing Machine, Looks Closer And Realizes What Wife Has Done

None of us really enjoy doing laundry. It’s a chore and it’s time-consuming. Once you become a parent it becomes even more difficult because you need to make sure that the little one doesn’t end up climbing into the machine when you’re not looking.

Fright Of His Life

An Imgur user called ARussianAndHisBike (believed to be from Russia for obvious reasons) got the fright of his life when he walked into his laundry room and thought that his baby had gotten trapped inside the washing machine and a load of laundry.

Safety First

While it is not the most common cause of deaths among infants, washing machines post a great danger to children. Many children are admitted to the hospital with injuries somehow related to a washing machine.

Access

Children climbing into washing machines is also not common but you’d be surprised how easily it could happen. Most front loading washing machines and dryers are placed on the floor.

This means that the door if left open or ajar, is at just the right height for a curious infant or toddler to climb into.

The photo ARussianAndHisBike shared shows the face of the baby seemingly pressed against the glass of the machine door.

However, it was not a real baby, rather a photo of the baby that had been printed on a t-shirt that caused this horrifying illusion.
