Dad Makes Neighbors Pay After They Make Daughter Cry

He couldn’t stand to see his daughter this upset. As Evie started to cry, her father had a visceral reaction. He was struggling to contain his anger as sweat beaded on his forehead and his whole face became red.

It was his young daughter’s birthday after all, and he was responsible for putting a smile on her face. But what made him even angrier was when he looked over the fence and noticed the satisfied smirks on his neighbors’ faces.

This wasn’t the first time that they had messed with the small family, but it would absolutely be the last. It was then that he knew what he would have to do to make the situation right. He clenched his jaw as his hands balled up into tight fists.

He was going to make them pay for what they had done.

“The Pitbull”

Scott Hunter wasn’t the type of man who would let things slide very easily. There was a reason why his colleagues called him “The Pitbull” at work. Once he got his teeth sunken into something, he refused to let it go.

Whether it was something difficult at work, or something that involved his family, Scott never backed down from a fight if it would better the lives of the people he cared for.

It was when he found his eight-years-old daughter Evie crying on her birthday in their rural backyard that he decided to do everything in his power to make things right. And he knew exactly who had caused her unhappiness, so his place was set into motion.

He would stop at nothing to make her happy, so he had a new mission on his hands.

Special Day

Scott and his wife were looking forward to throwing their precious daughter a small birthday party. They didn’t make too much money, but they knew they still had it in their power to make her special day worthwhile, so they set out to do just that.

They worked together to fill their backyard with balloons and decorations and to set up a bounce house for the children to play on. For the most part, things went off without a hitch and the children and their parents in attendance had a great day in the yard, enjoying each other’s company.

They never would have guessed that there was a problem. Evie’s special day would turn out to be the worst day of her life. Her parents wanted the day to be memorable, and it would be, but for all the wrong reasons.

Elderly Couple

Scott and his wife, Nina, had been living in the suburbs for four years at this point. It was their dream and after renting an apartment for years and saving up every last cent they could muster, they were finally able to put a down payment on the suburban house of their dreams, complete with a backyard and fence that made them feel safe.

But sadly for them, they ended up living right next door to a nasty, elderly couple. It seemed that they always had something to complain about.

They whined about the “noise” the children were making while playing together, they complained about the smoke from the BBQ and every other thing they could think of. Scott and Nina tried their best to be at peace with their neighbors, but their neighbors seemed to have other plans.

Exciting Day

The morning of their daughter’s birthday started off well. Scott and Nina were almost as excited as Evie was, which was nearly impossible because the small girl was capable of so much joy.

Scott mowed the lawn and worked with Nina to inflate the kiddy pool and to set up the massive bounce house in their yard. As the children and their parents began to pitch up, Scott started up the BBQ while Nina brought out the snacks.

The party seemed to be working out perfectly, with everyone in attendance having a good time on one of their few days off from school and work.

Scott and Nina knew how to make everyone feel at home and everyone was overjoyed to be together, so much so that they didn’t notice two pairs of angry eyes looking at the over the back of the fence.
