Dad Notices Toddler Acting Strange Then Realizes What She Is Drinking

He grew increasingly suspicious when he realized his daughter was acting strangely. As soon as she slipped off her chair and stood up unsteadily, he knew something was amiss. He took the cup from his daughter’s hand and took a sip.

The moment he took a sip, he started to experience a burning sensation in his chest. Something was not right, so he grabbed his phone and called 911. There was no doubt about what they had done. Consequences were inevitable.

Typical Day

It was a typical Sunday afternoon for the Smith family. They felt quite tired of sitting around the house all day, so they decided to go grab lunch at a local restaurant. Tim, Alexis and their daughter Aaliyah got in their car for a nice family lunch.

It didn’t dawn on them that they would soon be spending the rest of the day in the emergency room.

Unforgivable

Before Alexis and Tim could order some dessert, they noticed their daughter exhibiting odd behavior.

Alexis was a forgiving woman, but what happened to her daughter was unforgivable. Although Alexis understood that making mistakes is part of being human, this mistake that had been made with their daughter was unforgivable. It wouldn’t be long before the consequences would become apparent.

Soon, she would be demanding answers. She needed to speak to the manager immediately.

Nothing Unusual

Aaliyah loved apple juice, so as soon as the Smiths arrived at the restaurant they ordered a cup of juice for their 18-month-old daughter. The family dined at the restaurant frequently and the staff knew them very well, so the order was nothing out of the usual.

They would have never anticipated something going so horribly wrong at their favorite restaurant.

Strange

The food arrived and Aaliyah continued drinking her juice. Everything was going as usual. Initially, “everything was normal,” Aaliyah’s mom said with tears in her eyes.

When they were about to leave, they noticed that there was something wrong with their daughter.
