Dad Reels In Bags Before Realizing What They Are

It was far too big for his kids to reel in.

He rushed to get the pole from his kids and reel it in. He felt his arm muscles bulge as the catch breached the surface. He couldn’t believe what he had found.

Rob and his wife Patricia wanted to take the kids out to one more adventure before summer ended and they’d have to go back to school.

They got together some snacks for their outing and got onto their boat. They set off onto the waves and got ready for an adventure.

Fishing Family

Rob was proud of his children. He loved watching them cast their lines as he had taught them.

The swordfish should have been nibbling. He wanted a photo of the outing to hang on the wall. They could grill the fish and invite over the neighbors.

Nothing Nibbling

Tilefish was the only thing interested in nibbling today. And these fish were not tasty at all.

But the weather was clear and everyone was enjoying themselves. He lay back and watched his children. Then his daughter let out a squeak as she caught something.

The thing at the end of her line seemed colossal. Was it what he thought it was?

He hoped it was the swordfish he was dreaming of. His children rushed to help their sister with the line. But Rob could tell they needed help. He stepped in.
