He Knew

Brian knew there was something strange going on, but he didn’t tell anyone. His secret had important ramifications and he was worried what would happen if they learned about it.

In order to protect his family, he did not say a word and ignored the symptoms until they became apparent to them on their own.

There was no way he could hide it any longer.

Getting Worse

Initially, the symptoms were mild. Brian just appeared to have gained a few pounds around his stomach. It was even blamed on drinking too much beer by some of his friends.

Despite laughing at the jokes, Brian had no idea what was actually causing the problem. 

He despised doctors, so he ignored them. As the problem grew, it became more serious.

Ignoring The Symptoms 

Despite his wife’s pleas, Brian never regretted ignoring his symptoms. In addition to providing for his family, he focused on his work.

Nevertheless, things started getting out of hand after a year of neglect. 

People around town began calling him the “pregnant man” because of his huge stomach.

Can’t Continue Like This

As things worsened, he began to realize that he couldn’t continue like this. His work began to suffer as a result.

As his appearance changed, his boss tolerated it because it never interfered with his work, but now it was clear his health was deteriorating.

As a result, Brian decided to seek help.

No Choice

Brian had no choice but to see a doctor when his boss told him he had to see a professional. Despite his reluctance, he knew that if he didn’t do it, he would be fired.

He would lose his house if he didn’t have a job, and his family would go hungry. 

As soon as he entered the doctor’s office, he felt uneasy. It was too late to turn back.
