She tightly held the lunch bag in her hand, almost crushing the contents. She was frozen in the kitchen.

Busy Mornings

Leeza Pearson looked at her watch and hurriedly made her daughter lunch to get it to her on time.

Her mornings consisted of hurriedly getting ready and rushing out the door. But the rest of the day was normally just as rushed. But she was fine with it for one major reason.

Competitive Preschool

Her daughter attended Aurora’s Children’s Academy. It was the best preschool in the area and she was happy to be able to enrol her daughter there.

Leeza was a single mother working towards going into law enforcement. But every single cent she made went towards her daughter’s future. But there was one problem.

Health Focus

The school was very particular about its student’s health. To the extent that it was a little overboard.

Leez understood their concerns with the high percentage of obese people. But there would be an issue with the food she gave her daughter one day.
