Dog Stares Out Window Every Day Until Neighbor Puts Sign Up

For months, the dog had been staring outside the window and she had no idea why. It had just happened overnight without explanation.

He’d sit by the window for hours on end, his face solemn and sorrowful as he gazed into the garden of his next-door neighbor. And then he came to a halt and fell into a deep sadness. But why was that the case?

The Reason Why

A woman named Katy shared the following story on the social media platform known as Reddit. When everything transpired, her dog was seven years of age, and he was in a state that Katy had never seen before.

It was as if the sudden shift in personality occurred overnight. However, she got to the bottom of things eventually and she learned that her neighbor played a part. And she’d have to say something to him when the time came.

Out Of Nowhere

The change was abrupt. Katy’s pup did not exhibit any strange behavior in the weeks before and was his normal lovable self. It started one day, all of a sudden. Katy’s dog’s behavior hadn’t been anything out of the ordinary for the weeks prior.

Somehow he was taken over by something one day.

He spent the entire evening staring out the window one day. At first, Katy wasn’t too concerned about it. She quickly saw an odd trend, which made her question what was going on.

Daily Routine

This behavior occurred again the following day, and the day after that. It became a habit for the dog. It eventually became an important part of his daily routine, taking up the majority of his time.

Katy’s dog’s days seemed to become centered on whatever he was looking at from the window. He would stay there several hours a day, quietly staring outside. But what was he looking at?

Perhaps It Was Squirrels?

Katy walked around her garden trying to pinpoint what exactly her dog was staring at. She spent many hours outside trying to find answers. She even considered the possibility that it was a family of squirrels which captured her dog’s attention.

However, in all of her years living there, she had never seen squirrels in the garden and that remained true to that day. Katy felt like she was losing her mind trying to figure out what was going on.
