Everybody is aware that there is this thing called a generation gap. This means that the older people don’t understand the young people and vice versa, but that doesn’t mean that the different generations shouldn’t talk between them. There is a lot to learn from each other, and we might even be surprised. This is what the protagonist of our story demonstrated. Even if she is old, doesn’t mean she has lost her spark, so if you want to be sarcastic to her, you better think twice before doing so.
A Simple Woman
Starting our story, we find Dorothy, a simple woman going to the supermarket. She wanted to do the groceries for the week so she didn’t have to come back to the supermarket again, after all, she wasn’t as young as she used to be, and these trips to the supermarket were getting more and more difficult. Still, she wasn’t going to stop doing everything in her life by herself, even if it was tiring her. She wanted self-reliance.
