Family Has No Idea What To Do When Dog Has Odd Puppy

The vet’s expression when he first saw the puppy said everything. It was evident that he was stunned. There was something off about their puppy, and all they could do was pray that it was not something serious.

Melinda could feel her heart pounding in her chest as the vet shared his disbelief. He inspected the pup with a frown on his face; once he was done, he shared the problem with them. But the news would be far from what they had anticipated.

Adjusting

Goldie lived a good life in chilly Ontario, Canada. Goldie grew up in sunny Texas, but her owners, Melinda and Gregory, soon relocated to Canada. The cold weather was definitely an adjustment for Goldie.

However, it did not take long for Goldie to adjust to the cold weather. In a matter of days, Goldie was out and about, playing in the snow. Even though she enjoyed playing outside, curling up in her warm home was her favorite activity.

Why They Moved

Melinda Carriger and Gregory relocated to Ontario so that Melinda could take care of her parents. However, they could never leave their furry companion, Goldie, behind. Goldie had been a part of the Carriger family for more than three years.

The pair assumed that bringing Goldie across the continent would be the most challenging element of their migration to Canada. However, they had no idea what would transpire after they arrived in the country.

A Fresh Start

Melinda and Gregory felt like they could start settling into a fresh start after getting over the costs and inconveniences of migrating to another country with a pet.

Gregory already had an interview for a new job, and Melinda was lucky enough to be able to work remotely. However, they had missed something before leaving that they would only notice once they arrived in Canada.

Acting Strangely

A month into living in Ontario, Melinda began noticing that there was something off about her pet. She started to exhibit odd behavior. She brought her toys, blankets, and pillows to a corner of their loungeroom near the fireplace.

She appeared to be constructing a nest. Melinda scratched her brow, perplexed. She decided to research her dog’s odd behavior, which she found stunned her.
