Debbie could tell that the little girl in her class wasn’t feeling her usual self. She pulled her aside to ask her what the matter was. She knew that there was something wrong even if young Maddy wouldn’t tell her.

Debbie would keep an even closer eye on Maddy but her behavior would end up making her call 911.

Debbie Griffin was a passionate school teacher. She was happy to be there for her kids and shape their minds as tomorrow’s leaders.

A lot of the kids in her school were underprivileged, she always tried her best to make sure that despite that they were happy. So when she noticed Maddy acting strange, she had to get to the bottom of it.

Strange Behavior

For a week now Maddy had been getting to class quite late. She also seemed way too tired to learn in class. Debbie felt that something strange was going on, and she’d figure it out for Maddy’s sake.

Maddy even shied away from playing with the other kids when a week ago she loved playing with them. She took break times to nap too, something wasn’t right.

Making A Connection

It was obvious that something was wrong with Maddy and Debbie knew that she’d do whatever it took to try and make things better for the little girl.

She decided to sit her down and listen to what she had to say, but after speaking with her, she realized that Maddy was having problems at home. She had to get to the bottom of it.

New In Town

Debbie knew very little about Maddy’s home life because she had only been at the school for a few weeks. All she did know was that Maddy and her dad had arrived in the town of Lakewood, recently, and nobody knew much about the pair.

But when Maddy began to turn up late for school, Debbie knew something was off.
