Woman Loses Her Phone And $300 Then Traces It Back To Cahier
Replacing her ID and the cash wasn’t a big deal, but she would have a heard time replacing her iPhone’s contacts, messages and meaningful photos. Some of those photos were of people that weren’t around anymore.
And now those photos were missing forever.
She walked up to the manager and asked him a question without any hesitation. He didn’t think much of it as he pointed at the teenage cashier without any doubt. She knew now what he had done, and soon enough, everyone else would know too.
Grocery Shopping
Sheila was a busy woman, she worked as a teacher and she loved every second of it. But one day, as she was leaving work, she remembered that she had to stop and buy some groceries.
She pulled into the local Piggly Wiggly and made her way inside. It was late and she was exhausted after a long day at work. She was relieved that it was Wednesday, and the week was almost over.
On The Lookout
“Bread…milk…fabric softener…” She repeated the words over and over, trying to make sure she wouldn’t forget any essentials as she walked through the aisles.
Then, out of nowhere, she felt someone bump into her. She immediately tightened her grip around her bag, she was overly aware of purse-nabbers and pickpockets. She feared that they would view her as an easy target, but she would prove them wrong.
She turned around angrily and glared up at him.
Cautious
She had bumped into the clerk as he was packing shelves behind her. Her apologized over and over again when he noticed her sour expression. She felt bad instantly, maybe she reacted a bit harshly.
She didn’t say anything as she continued her shopping. It was just a bad day.
She paid for her groceries and placed her wristlet on the seat of her shopping cart in an attempt to keep an eye on it. But she had no clue what mistake she was about to make as she made her way to the checkout line.
Missing From Wrist
It was time to go home and she couldn’t wait to have dinner and watch TV before bed. As she was done putting her groceries into her car, she looked down at her watch and was surprised to see that it was 8:30 pm already.
But she hadn’t noticed that something was missing from her wrist.
