Grandma Is Woken Up By Strange Noises At Night, Police Tell Her to Move Immediately

One night, the noises returned. Sue was fast asleep in her bed when she jumped awake with the startling sound of a crash outside her window. It was similar to the one she’d heard weeks ago, but this time it was louder. It was so loud, in fact, that her entire wall shook.

Her first thought was to call the police, but what they told her stunned her and changed her life forever.

Sue Kept To Herself

Sue was a proud grandmother who lived in Atlantic Highland, New Jersey with her dog and three cats. Sue’s husband had passed away about seven years ago, and she’d been living alone ever since. Her kids and grandkids came to visit her every other month or so.

But for the most part, she kept to herself.

She Loved Her Home

Sue had lived in the same home for decades. She purchased the house with her husband many years ago as a quiet place to retire and relax. The house was small but there was a large backyard with a small pond. Beyond her yard was a deep forest that stretched on for hundreds of acres.

She Enjoyed Peace and Quiet

Sue loved the peace and quiet of her little slice of paradise. She spent a lot of her time gardening, reading, cooking, playing with her pets, and traveling. She didn’t have a ton of money but she had enough saved up to visit Europe every couple years. She loved her quiet but full lifestyle.

The Woods

The only thing that ever disrupted her peaceful existence was the forest behind her house. She enjoyed the solitude but also found herself being a little creeped out sometimes when she heard strange noises coming out of the woods.

She knew there was nothing to fear but it still made her a little uneasy.
