Most people would agree that summer is their favorite season. People love to go to places like the beach or a lake and spend time with their friends, share a few drinks, and just generally have a good time. Other people might want to catch a tan, have a barbeque or maybe even catch some fish. 

A setting like this is generally relaxing, but one guy and a few of his friends had quite the opposite experience when they saw something floating down the river towards them. The mysterious cooler that floated towards them, however, contained something that scared them all. 

Fun In The Great Outdoors

When these friends saw something floating down the river toward them they decided to jump into action. One of the guys took out his phone and recorded the entire ordeal.

He had no idea what a good idea that was because what he caught on camera seemed to come straight out of a horror movie.

Unidentified Floating Object

The group of guys spotted what looked like a white box floating down the river. Understandably curious about what might be inside, one of the guys and his dog dive into the water to go and get the strange box.

Cooler Than You Think

The man, realizing that it’s a cooler, decides to take action. Luckily the other guy has already started filming. If he hadn’t, no one would have believed them. The footage he captured shocked everyone who saw it.

What started out as a relaxing day was about to turn into a nightmare. Before they went to retrieve it, however, the cameraman made sure that it didn’t belong to the people on the opposite bank of the river.

He thought it might have accidentally slipped into the river without them realizing it.
