He Thought They Were Alone In The Elevator
He felt very tired at that point. He needed to sit down to gather himself for a moment. He wasn’t aware that he was being watched, however.
If he had known the whole time he would’ve prevented it from happening. But his boss was watching every second of what was going on from the elevator camera.
Passion
Tony Scherb felt his best when he was busy with his work. He was a passionate sheriff at the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. He had been working there for many years, and he knew everything there was to the station.
It was a job he loved and he took great pride in working at the precinct. Until, one day, a huge secret was uncovered that changed everything forever.
Connections
He had been at the station for more than three decades and he had made many connections over time. But, sadly, he was growing old and retirement was rapidly approaching.
He couldn’t wait to relax with his fishing pole and actually looked forward to retirement. However, he had no clue that everything would change just before he would hand in his badge forever.
Well-Known
Scherb was well-known. During his 29 years on the job, he witnessed many people come and go. His dedication was commended by everyone at the station.
However, he wondered if they would still view him in that light if they knew of the elevator he used to relax when he had experienced stressful situations.
Before He Could Go
Though he was soon to retire, he still had more work to do than he had time for. In order to make a beer trade, he had to deal with piles of paperwork and a lot of phone calls.
The deadlines were so tight that he had to work really hard to meet them. It was a routine that he had become accustomed to in the 29 years he’d worked there, but that did not make it any easier.
